OUR STORY

CLMDO was founded by Wilson Davalos.

In December 2013. Wilson moved to his birthplace of Isabela, Puerto Rico from New York City. In May 2014 CLMDO opened its doors. 

For a few months Wilson had no employees. He would play the role of host, waiter, cook and dishwasher. 

Wilson has made his life about food. With a passion towards rustic dishes that showcase olive oil. Olive oil is liquid gold at CLMDO.

On September 20, 2017, Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico. CLMDO had to close its doors, Hurricane Maria exited from Isabela.

In 2019 CLMDO relocates to the Ocean Park neighborhood of San Juan.

CLMDO is NOT a vegetarian restaurant. We ARE vegetable forward, with an assortment of quality, organic meats.

CLMDO has been featured in The New York Times, GQ Magazine, Eater and is a proud member of The James Beard Foundation.
